Nate was killed in a tragic accident on Interstate 70 westbound in Fallowfield Township on Tuesday, November 4th 2008 while returning from a police training in California, PA. Nate was removing a tire from the interstate when he was struck and killed.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Burnfield family, South Strabane Township Police Department and the Canton Township VFD. Nate will be truly missed.
